Bio Guest: In his role at Luzerner Kantonalbank, René is responsible for stock exchange trading for customers, ensuring the operation and further development of trading applications. He is now also responsible for the technical implementation of cryptocurrencies at LUKB as part of the digital asset project. LUKB is one of the few banks in Switzerland that offers trading and custody of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. René is also LUKB’s representative in the “Digital Assets” expert group of the Swiss Blockchain Federation.
Bio Host: Stuart has a wealth of leadership experience in scaling highly complex fintech business models. Starting out at Thomson Financial, he then embarked on a 15-year career with quantitative solutions provider Algorithmics to build up the firm’s buy-side business. After Algorithmics, he joined industry leaders such as S&P Global, IBM, and Arria NLG, a leading provider of Natural Language Generation solutions.
